Our Mission

Driving success
with technology

As you may know, the C DRIVE is the primary hard drive on a computer.

Many of us think of the word DRIVE as a way to attain a goal; pressing to be better or simply just trying to find a way to figure it out.

We are excited to provide a local community fund outreach in partnership with the Tulsa Community Foundation. This fund will support an annual technology grant to a Tulsa Public Schools teacher, coach, or school.

The C:DRIVE Technology Fund provides an opportunity for a Tulsa Public Schools teacher, coach or school to submit an application to promote the advancement of technology within education. This fund could be used to buy new technology, upgrade current technology, supply software and/or hardware to enhance the education experience for students in Tulsa Public Schools.

If you have a technology need or wish for your students, the next step is to apply.

About C:Drive

This fund has been established in partnership with the Tulsa Community Foundation in memory and honor of Larry M. Catron, paying forward his commitment to helping individuals and organizations use technology to work smarter.

A native Tulsan, Larry grew up attending Tulsa Public Schools and was a 1966 graduate of Edison High School. After graduation, Larry attended the University of Tulsa and received his B. S. in Education in 1971.

Larry would work in the family business for almost 30 years, however following the sale of the family business, he found himself in need of a new career. In 2000, he started Logical Premise, an independent computer consulting company. He would teach himself how to build computers and networks, learning individual business software to help companies operate smoothly and efficiently. Larry was highly trusted by his clients and always wored to find solutions which were beneficial to all concerned.

Larger than life, lighting up a room, bringing an energy, a laugh, a smile and maybe if you were lucky, a song is how many remember him.

Larry was the C:DRIVE of our family as well as many Tulsa area business operations. He was humble and would just say “I’m glad I could help.” He loved his clients and he loved what he did.

Thank you for your support and honoring Larry’s and legacy with the C:DRIVE Technology Fund.
